(15 June updated programme; including registration links)
Title: DYNASTEE On-line Training for Dynamic Calculation Methods for Building Energy Performance Assessment
A series of 4 webinars (e.g. 9 lectures) are proposed that will be distributed over a period of 4 weeks in September and October 2021. These webinars should be considered as the substitute for the physical, one-week long Summer School that was planned to take place in June in Almeria (ES). At the start of the webinars a short introduction is suggested, presenting briefly DYNASTEE, its history, activities and the forthcoming webinar program. All four webinars will be recorded and will become available on the internet.
What is in for you, participant? Having attended to the webinars the participant will be able to understand the topic of dynamic analysis applied to in-situ measured data series, the basic mathematical and statistical analysis techniques, applicable software and benchmark data will be made available for performing exercises to build a level of skill.
How to register for the on-line training webinars? More information about the webinar program, lecturers and contents can be found below. There will be no fee to attend the webinars.
Four webinars are proposed on 22 and 29 September, 6 and 13 October 2021 with contributions from: Luk Vandaele, Hans Bloem, Aitor Erkoreka, Irati Uriarte, Maria-Jose Jimenez, Paul Baker, Peder Bacher and Richard Fitton.
All webinars are composed of 2 lectures 10:00 – 12:00 on Wednesday mornings.
As mentioned there is no participation fee however Registration is required in order to attend each of the webinars. The registration procedure is available on the DYNASTEE web-site visit www.dynastee.info
Webinar 1 (Registration link). 22 September; DYNASTEE On-line Training for Dynamic Calculation Methods for Building Energy Performance Assessment | Introduction to dynamic calculation methods and analysis techniques for thermal characterisation of building components and performance assessment of buildings. Introduction to measured data, instrumentation and sensors in relation to building physics and energy performance. What is important to know?
Webinar 2 (Registration link). 29 September; DYNASTEE On-line Training for Dynamic Calculation Methods for Building Energy Performance Assessment | Presenting the experimental set-up and measurement of the Plataforma Solar de Almeria data series 16, 17. An overview will be given of available data and analysis topics, including brief examples. An exercise is proposed to study the analysis with and without solar radiation. Introduction to dynamic calculation methods and quick overview of the software tool LORD. The aim is to build confidence in analysis. As an training, an easy, conduction-only exercise with simulated data will be proposed (result is given to the participants to gain confidence).
Webinar 3 (Registration link). 6 October; DYNASTEE On-line Training for Dynamic Calculation Methods for Building Energy Performance Assessment | Introduction to discrete time and continuous time methods (CTSM-R) and models together with statistical tools. Combining two disciplines; building physics and mathematical techniques. Application to exercise using PSA data series 16, 17. An overview will be given of applied data and analysis with CTSM-R.
Webinar 4 (Registration link). 13 October; DYNASTEE On-line Training for Dynamic Calculation Methods for Building Energy Performance Assessment | An introduction to the analysis of metering data, the specification and limitations of the data and analysis techniques. Questions and Answer session. Feedback and questions from participants.
