Conference 2005
12-14 OCTOBER 2005
Athens
Dynamic Analysis, Simulation and Testing
applied to the Energy and Environmental Performance of Buildings
This conference builds further on the successful conference on dynamic analysis methods held at JRC Ispra on 13-14 November 2003 and the workshop in Warsaw 13-14 May 2004, organized in the framework of the European project DAME-BC (Dynamic Analysis and Modelling applied to Energy performance assessment and prediction of Buildings and Components).
Although this conference is a follow up event to the Ispra conference and Warsaw workshop, it encourages new participants. The proceedings of the conference and workshop are available on a CD-rom which will be sent on request.
The DYNASTEE network invites all candidate participants to perform a self training exercise for data analysis to test their level of skill on a series of case studies. These cases increase in terms of complexity from simulated data to building performance data. Details of the four cases and instructions how to perform the exercise are made available on the DYNASTEE web-site www.dynastee.info and through the CD-rom which includes also the necessary tools and supporting information. The information may also be asked by e-mail from info@dynastee.info. The location of the conference is Athens, Greece.
Participants to the conference are invited to submit a paper based on one of the following topics:”Application of dynamic analysis, simulation and testing to the energy and environmental performance of buildings”
- Building design phase.
- Development of innovative components and systems.
- Experiments in buildings.
- Building regulations and calculation procedures.
- Auditing, labeling and certification of buildings.
With topics covering, for example, thermal comfort, daylighting, air flow, moisture transfer, bio-contaminants and pollution, etc.
The conference programme will include a number of introductory lectures and demonstrations from the recently finalised project DAME-BC.
